Traveling with pets and kids can be ruff, but our paw-some hotel offers spacious accommodations, kid-friendly activities, and pet-friendly special accommodations for extended stays, making us the purr-fect choice for families exploring Dubai together.

Pet Policy for Extended Stays

To ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay for all guests, including those with pets, at DAMAC Maison Aykon City Hotel Apartments, this policy outlines the guidelines and responsibilities for both pet owners and staff members across all internal departments. This policy applies exclusively to extended stays of six months and longer.

General Guidelines:

  • Pets are welcome at DAMAC Maison Aykon City Hotel Apartments for those staying with us for six months or more, subject to the conditions outlined in this policy.
  • Pet owners must register their pets at the time of booking or upon check-in and ensure they wear appropriate identification as per Dubai Municipality Guidelines.
  • A maximum of one pet per apartment is allowed.
  • Pets must be domesticated, well-behaved, and fully vaccinated. Pet owners must provide proof of vaccination upon check-in.
  • Generally, dogs and cats are allowed, but exotic animals or aggressive breeds may be prohibited and will be subject to evaluation by the hotel.
  • Pet Fees and Deposits:

A non-refundable pet fee of AED 250 per stay is required.

An additional refundable deposit of AED 1,000 is required to cover any potential damages. This deposit will be refunded after a room inspection upon check-out.

3. Pet-Friendly Areas:

  • Pets are allowed in the designated pet-friendly apartments only.
  • Pets are not permitted in the following amenity areas listed below:
  • Restaurants, pool café and all guest dining areas
  • Swimming pools and fitness center
  • Spa and wellness areas
  • Meeting and event spaces
  • Kids Club
  • Lobby Lounge

4. Pet Owner Responsibilities:

  • Pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier while in public areas within the hotel premises.
  • Pets should not be left unattended in the apartment for extended periods. Housekeeping services should be scheduled when the pet owner is present.
  • Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and disposing of waste in designated areas.
  • Any damages caused by the pet to the property or its contents will be charged to the pet owner’s account.
  • Pets must not be kept on the balcony.

5. Staff Guidelines:

  • Front Desk:
    • Inform pet owners of the pet policy upon check-in.
    • Ensure all pet-related fees and deposits are collected.
  • Housekeeping:
    • Report any pet-related damages or issues to management immediately.
    • Utensils provided for guests’ usage as part of the inventory list should not be used for pets.
    • Pet food must not be left around the building, in any common areas or on the balconies.
    • For the safety and comfort of your pet, Housekeeping will enter your apartment if: (a) your pet is not present, or (b) you are present and can monitor your pet, or (c) your pet is isolated in a separate room.
  • Security:
    • Monitor compliance with the pet policy in public areas.
    • Address any complaints or concerns related to pets promptly and professionally.
  • Maintenance:
    • Conduct regular inspections of pet-friendly apartments to ensure they are in good condition.
    • Address any pet-related maintenance issues promptly.

6. Health and Safety:

  • Pet owners must ensure their pets do not pose a threat or nuisance to other guests or staff members.
  • Any incidents involving aggressive behavior or bites must be reported to management immediately.
  • The hotel reserves the right to ask a pet owner to remove their pet from the premises if it is deemed a threat or nuisance.

7. Exclusive to Furry guests:

  • Dedicated floors for a comfortable stay
  • Pet amenities & food items are available at F-Mart at the adjoining Tower C

8. Emergency Contacts:

  • The front desk will provide contact information for local veterinarians and pet care services.

9. Associated costs:

  • Pet registration fees @ AED 150 upon check-in.
  • Cleaning surcharge of AED 100 per week.
  • Additional refundable Security Deposit of AED 1,000

By signing this policy, the pet owner agrees to adhere to all guidelines and accepts responsibility for their pet's behavior and any associated costs.

10. Liability:

  • Damac Maison Aykon City Hotel Apartments is not responsible for any injury, illness, or damage caused by the pet to property, guests, or staff.
